Ingredients
For Burger
- 6 nos Bread Bun/ Burger Bun Long or Round type
- 1 large Cucumber/ Kheera Sliced
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Crushed Black Pepper/ Kali Mirch
For Cutlets
- 0.5 cup Lobia/ Black eye bean
- 1 tsp Black Pepper/ Kali Mirch (Crushed)
- 1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder/ Bhuna Jeera Powder
- 1 small Carrot/ Gajar (Finely chopped)
- 1 small Capsicum/ Shimla Mirch (Finely chopped)
- 0.5 tsp Aamchur Powder
- 1 medium Onion/ Pyaz (Finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- 2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
- 2 tsp Red Chilli flakes
- To Taste Salt/ Namak
For Dressing/ Sauce
- 0.5 cup Thick Curd/ Hung curd/ Dahi
- 2 tbsp Cheese Spread/ Mayonnaise Eggless
- 1 tbsp Carrot/ Gajar (Grated)
- 1 tbsp Capsicum/ Shimla Mirch (Grated)
- 1 tbsp Cucumber/ Kheera (Grated)
- 1 Small Onion/ Pyaz (Finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Black Pepper/ Kali Mirch (Crushed)
- 2 tsp Red Chilli flakes
- To Taste Salt/ Namak
- 2 tsp Red Chilli flakes

Instructions
Cutlet
- Pressure Cook lobia for 1 whistle on high and then 3-4 whistle on low flame. Drain and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. In a big bowl add boiled lobia and crush them roughly.
- Now when you want to make a sandwich take cutlets out of the fridge and directly fry in hot oil and remove on absorbent paper. Keep aside.
How to assemble Burger
- Cut the bread in to half and toast (cook) on both sides over a medium heated tawa.
Recipe Notes
For Cutlets
- If you want quick cutlets you may use baked beans / lobia available in tins in market. Just drain them and refrigerate for some time before use.
- Make the cutlets of same shape according to bread you are using.
- Deep fridge the cutlets and and fry directly in hot oil.
- Do not fry for more than a minute as everything inside is already cooked.
For Dressing (Sauce)
- To enhance the flavor you can use flavored cheese spread or mayonnaise.
- Check if cheese spread or mayonnaise is suitable for vegetarians or not.
For Burger
- Use your choice of bread. You can also try flavored bread here.
- You may use any shape of buns, long or round buns as per the availability.
- You may also use sliced onion, tomato, capsicum or lettuce leaves with cucumber.
