Take all the ingredients except oil in a wide bowl and mix well.
Now add 2 tbsp oil and mix well again.
Add sufficient water in batches to knead a medium soft dough. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
After that divide the dough in to 30 equal balls. Cover and keep aside.
Take 1 ball apply some oil and roll in to 3 inch diameter circle. Now with the help of a knife, make some cuts in a mathri. Do the same with all dough balls and keep aside.
Now heat sufficient oil in a kadai (Wok).
When oil is hot enough deep fry all mathris in batches till golden in color on medium flame.
Remove on absorbent paper and let them cool down.
When cooled down to room temperature store them in an air tight container.
Serve with tea, green chutney, pickle or with food. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
While making a dough add very little water at a time as this dough do not absorb too much water.
Just add sufficient water to knead a medium soft dough.
While frying keep the flame between medium to low.
Fry till golden brown in color.
You may store them in an airtight containers for weeks.
