Take warm water, sugar and instant dry yeast in a bowl. Mix lightly, cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile sift maida, milk powder and salt in a wide big bowl.
Now add butter and mix it with hand by rubbing in between palms.
Now check yeast, it must have been active by then (Should looks frothy and bubbles on surface)
Now pour this yeast mix to maida and mix it well forming a dough.
Shape the dough like a ball, brush it with oil and keep in a greased big bowl. Cover loosely with a cling film making sure no air can go inside. And leave in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
Now check in 1-2 hours, dough should be double in size.
Grease a loaf pan and keep aside.
Take the dough out, Punch it back and knead it for few minutes or until smooth.
Give a shape like loaf and place in a greased loaf pan. Make few cuts on top and brush some oil. (At this time you may also sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top.) Cover with cling film and again keep in warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180°C.
Check loaf it should be risen by then. Remove the cling film and bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until golden brown in color.
Take it out and tap, it should sound hollow. Let it cool down to handle. Cover it completely with aluminium foil and let it cooled down completely.
Slice as required only once it is cooled.

Recipe Notes
First of all check, if yeast is not bubbled, discard it. That means yeast is not good or it might be very old to use.
For better results sift the maida, milk powder and salt 2-3 times all together.
Knead the dough until it smooth.
You may also add flavors to your bread (mix the spices/ herbs with maida).
You may use sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds ets, to top your bread.
Baking is always a hit and trial method as the baking time and temperature may vary on different weather conditions, the type of oven, the quality of maida and yeast. So don’t worry if you do no get it right in first attempt. Keep trying and surely you will be successful next time :).
