Recipe- Rice Chakri
“A traditional Gujrati snacks made up of rice flour and lots of spices, shaped like chakri and then deep fried to crisp.”

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. In a wide bowl take all the ingredients except oil and butter. Mix well.
  2. Now add butter and mix well again.
  3. Add sufficient water to make a soft dough.
  4. Now heat oil in a wok.
  5. Meanwhile grease the chakri machine and fill with dough.
  6. When oil is hot enough, press the machine over the hot oil, giving a shape like chakri. Fry on medium heat till golden brown in color.
  7. Alternatively if you are not that expert giving a shape of chakri by press the machine directly over the hot oil. You may press trhe machine over the small sized papers and slip in to the hot oil. And fry on medium heat till golden brown in color same way.
  8. When done remove on absorbent paper and let them cool down. You may store in a airtight container.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
  • The dough should not be hard, otherwise it will not come out of the machine easily.
  • Adjust the spices as per your taste buds.
  • Be careful while pressing the machine directly over the hot oil.
