Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Mash to smooth any leftover rice/ pulav or even khichdi. Add the spices if required, mix well.
  2. Make small lemon size smooth balls. keep aside.
  3. In another bowl mix cornflour with little water to make a thick paste.
  4. Dip each ball in to cornflour paste and then roll in to breadcrumbs. Keep aside.
  5. Deep fry on medium heat in small batches til golden brown.
  6. Serve with ketchup. Kids are gonna love it.
Recipe Notes
  • Here i use lefover pongal.
  • You may use any type of leftover rice dish like pulav or khichdi, just add spices as required and mash it to smooth.
  • You may also add fine chopped vegetables to the mix.
  • Super hit in kids when served with ketchup in lolypop form.
  • You may make it colorful too by adding boiled and mashed beetroot to give nice pink color, boiled and mashed peas for green, little turmeric powder to yellow etc.
