Ingredients

Instructions
  1. For sugar syrup take sugar and water in a pan and let it boil. When it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep aside.
  2. For rabri take milk in a non stick pan and let it boil on high flame. When it starts boiling reduce the flame to low. Add chopped nuts at this point. Now keep stirring the milk at regular interval and let it boil untill 3/4 of milk. Add sugar and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes. Keep aside. You may also refrigerate this when at room temperature.
  3. Take a bread slice and cut all the sides with a sharp knife. Then cut diagonally.
  4. Heat ghee in preferably flat pan and when it is hot enough. Deep fry the bread slice on both sides.
  5. Remove and dip in sugar syrup. Turn and leave for few seconds.
  6. Take out in serving plate and garnish with rabri. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
  • Do not leave in sugar syrup for long time, this will result soggy bread.
  • You may keep sugar syrup and rabri ready in refrigerator 1-2 days before.
  • It will help you make quick dessert, just warm sugar syrup before using it.
  • For better taste use chilled rabri.
  • Keep stirring rabri at regular intervals otherwise it may burn.
