  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add hing and jeera. When jeera starts crackling, add haldi powder, red chili powder and coriander powder. Fry till golden brown in color.
  2. Now add grated tomato and mix well. Add sugar, salt and aamchur powder, mix well. Cover the pan and reduce the flame to low. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Serve with chapati, paratha or rice.
Recipe Notes
  • Vegan can use shortening instead of ghee.
