Instructions
- Heat ghee in a preferably non stick pan. Roast vermicelli till brown in color.
- Add milk and saffron, let it boil on high flame keep stirring in between to avoid any burn.
- When it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and partially cover the pan, let it cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame while stirring at regular intervals.
- let the milk reduce to desire consistency and then add chopped nuts and sugar, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame.
Recipe Notes
- Keep stirring at regular intervals to avoid any burn.
- To give rich flavour add half tin of condense milk with nuts and adjust sugar accordingly.
- Cook it up to required consistency, as some people like it thin while some very thick.
- Its good for kids as well, adjust nuts as per their liking.
