  1. Heat ghee in a preferably non stick pan. Roast vermicelli till brown in color.
  2. Add milk and saffron, let it boil on high flame keep stirring in between to avoid any burn.
  3. When it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and partially cover the pan, let it cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame while stirring at regular intervals.
  4. let the milk reduce to desire consistency and then add chopped nuts and sugar, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  5. Garnish with some nuts and serve. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
  • Keep stirring at regular intervals to avoid any burn.
  • To give rich flavour add half tin of condense milk with nuts and adjust sugar accordingly.
  • Cook it up to required consistency, as some people like it thin while some very thick.
  • Its good for kids as well, adjust nuts as per their liking.
