Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice Preparations (Long Grain White Basmati)
- 2-3 nos Clove/ Laung
- 2-3 nos Bay Leaves/ Tej Patta
- 2 cup Water
- 0.5 tsp Salt (Optional)

- Now reduce the flame to low and cover the pan. leave for 15 minutes.
Recipe Notes
- Wash the rice properly until the washed water comes clean.
- Do not mix or try to wash again once soaked, otherwise they will break.
- Add rice only in boiling water.
- Do not open the lid again and again to check.
- If water is coming out, open the lid slightly just to escape excessive steam. Or better to use lid with a hole.
- If you see that rice remain uncooked and water is finish pour some water over the lid do not mix cold water in rice, while cooking.
- Actual amount of water needs to cook rice, depends upon the quality of rice.
- Here i used long grain basmati rice which takes 2 cups of water to cook 1 cup of rice.
